Most benefits of mastic result from its anti-bacterial essence. However, it's been recently discovered that it also possesses anti-viral qualities. Since bacteria and viruses are completely different categories of micro-organisms and one substance effective against one of them is powerless against the other, mastic stands in a league of its own by being effective against both.
 
Instructions :
Apply reasonable amount on wet hair and rinse with water. Recommended to wash your hair once and remain the bubbles on your hair minimum 60 seconds. Raen shampoos are %100 soluble in water. Avoid eye contact.

MASTIC Mastic gum has been widely used in almost all Mediterranean and Arabic countries for centuries. It was mostly used for treating ailments such as gastritis, dyspepsia, peptic ulcer and other problems affecting the digestive tract. Mastic is also very beneficial for dental health. Chewing mastic gum reduces the number of bacteria in the oral cavity and prevents tooth decay, as well as gum disease. In addition, this kind of gum has a very intense aroma and it is somewhat harder than synthetic chewing gum, which increases salivation. After being traditionally used for many years, mastic gum came in focus of scientific research, analysis and studies, which confirmed its unique therapeutic attributes. Mastic resin is a key ingredient in "dondurma" (Turkish ice cream) and Turkish puddings granting those confections its unusual texture and bright whiteness. In Lebanon and Egypt, the spice is used to flavour many sauces, ranging from soups to meats to desserts, while in Morocco smoke from the resin is used to flavour water. In Turkey, mastic is used as a flavor of Turkish delight. As well as its culinary uses, mastic continues to be used for its gum and medicinal properties. The resin is used as a primary ingredient in the production of cosmetics such as toothpaste, lotions for the hair and skin, and perfumes. Mastic oil also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, and as such is widely used in the preparation of ointments for skin disorders and afflictions. It is also used in the manufacture of plasters (band aids).
